Who We Are

Bon Temps Studios of Louisiana is a non-profit organization servicing both individuals and families of disadvantaged backgrounds from the Greater New Orleans area in the State of Louisiana. The mission statement of the organization is “to cultivate and retain the arts of film and theatre production for Louisiana youth.” The vision and goal is to teach 6-12th grade students the art of film and theater by enriching their mind and challenging their goals, one artist at a time. Through BTS’s first program, Magic Behind The Scenes, they will work to harness local youth that are interested in film and theatre productions as a career and equip them with the skills needed to advance this career path. BTS hopes to position itself as a catalyst for producing well educated, well-rounded individuals that can be fed to the local film and theatre industry.
